How much do they weigh?
The Heat Mat weighs 13.6Kg and the Power Supply Unit weighs 3.1 Kg. The Total weight of both items is 16.7 Kg

How long do they take to warm up?
In an ambient temperature of 10 °C, our heating technology will reach at least 30°C within 22 minutes.

What temperature do they get to?
On the High Temperature setting, our heating technology will regulate between 35°C and 45°C.

In a -5°C refrigerated warehouse, will it still reach at least 35°C?
Yes, our heat mats are designed to operate in climates ranging from -10°C to 40°C.

What tests have been done on your heating technology?
We have been Tested and Certified by one of the World’s leading quality and compliance laboratories, TUV Rheinland. We have undertaken Safety, EMC and RoHS both in their UK and European laboratories.

Do they come with a Warranty?
Yes, we offer a six month warranty – Most customers find their heat mats pay for themselves compared to other heaters within six months. Extended warranty options are available upon request.

How much do they cost in electricity if I turn it on at 9am and turn it off at 5pm?
Based on an electricity price of £0.30 per Kwh, the cost would be £0.56 for 9am to 5pm.

My current heaters are 8 Amps and they trip the electrics when I turn them all on. How many Amps is the WarmTronics Heat Mat?
The WarmTronics Heat Mat only uses circa 1 Amp.

How do I clean the WarmTronics Heat Mat?
Please ensure the Heat Mat is turned off and unplugged before any cleaning is undertaken. We would recommend hoovering the black rubber on a regular basis to prevent dust and other objects from penetrating through. We would recommend a very lightly damp cloth to wipe clean the yellow metalwork.
