Brompton Bikes of London has built its one millionth folding bike, 47 years after the first was wheeled out by inventor Andrew Ritchie.

100,000 of the iconic folding bikes are now made each year in its factory in Greenford, with over 70% of production exported.

Brompton currently heat the factory by using gas blowers and gas fed air handling units, delivering the warm air through airsocks, or ducting around their factory. With the high ceiling height of the warehouse, the hot air naturally rises away from the cold concrete warehouse floor.

WarmTronics Heat Mats provide additional warmth to the Brompton team working close to the roller shutter doors during the Winter months.
